Summary

The Director of Digital Marketing and Business Development is responsible for the acquisition and retention of users through various digital channels and partnership deals, as well as the customer support across all world markets of PNP-Portable North Pole available in 4 languages.

Main responsibilities

In collaboration with other senior managers and the executive team, participates in strategic planning, definition of business and financial goals for all global markets.
Will work closely with other key UGM members, such as our specialized email (CRM) and BI team, along with key platform developers.
Plans and manages the objectives and set KPI goals (ex : paid ads campaigns, on-line content, ASO, SEO, SEM, mobile apps, social networks, on-line influencers, etc.), while ensuring adherence to compliance guidelines and brand identity. Defines and manages department budgets (Marketing and Customer Service).
Oversee, alongside key team lead’s of the customer support and community management teams.
Oversee and collaborate, alongside key team lead’s of business development to find key partners and various business opportunities, develop and maintain key partnerships, which will include driving negotiates and closing various business deals.
Develops and executes the main marketing communication plan, that includes and ensures its execution with their internal team and the collaboration of different UGroupMedia external agencies in multiple countries.
Identify,hire and manage staff, external collaborators and agencies; monitors multiple ongoing projects, and ensures compliance with deadlines.
Creates and maintains a quality of life at work and a satisfying and stimulating atmosphere within the team.
Establishes various performance metrics and produces the relevant reports in and post season for the CEO and CFO and management and external stakeholders.
Safeguard the magic of Christmas and Santa, and helps bring joy to our millions of fans around the world!

Requirements

Education and Experience
University degree or equivalent in Marketing and Communication, Digital Technology Development/Management, Digital Marketing and e-Commerce, Information Systems Marketing, or related fields/disciplines.
5 to 10 years of experience in marketing of of B2C digital products(web and mobile apps)
(Nice to have) 2 or more years of experience in B2B growth and partnership management
(Nice to have) Web and Mobile analytics experience

Skills and qualities

Experience with US and Canadien markets
(nice to have) Experience with European, Australian and LATAM markets
Leadership and capacity to mobilize and motivate under pressure
Skilled in team and project management
Focused on results
Highly interested in new technologies and international development
Good knowledge of analysis tools
Highly creative, meticulous, and rigorous
Excellent critical sense of a finished product, challenging capacity
High proficiency in spoken and written communication in both English and French

Assets
