SUMMARY

One of the largest online seasonal based communities is looking for a Social Media Manager that will lead the charge, alongside the Marketing lead to grow its social channels to the next level. That individual understands and knows how to leverage each social networks target audience and content in order to expand its reach and drive user acquisitions. Also coordinating with our global network of PR agencies across various countries and both national and international partners to drive awareness and sales for both our digital and physical products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a global social media strategy with Marketing lead (FB, Twitter, IG, Pinterest, and YouTube) with the primary goal of growing our social reach and driving user acquisitions.
  • Create a content calendar
  • Coordinate with both internal and external resources to create supporting (image and video) assets
  • Write original, creative content and/or coordinate with copywriting resources that will engage and grow our community
  • Funnel users into our sales flow from the respective social sites
  • Maintain a rigorous editorial process with great attention to details.
  • Create posts that will be used in our paid campaigns
  • Identify key influencers and establish a relationship with them.
  • Generate social media reports on a regular basis.
  • Generate a meaningful post-mortem after a campaign run through
  • Support and coordinate with multiple PR agencies globally and lead and manage various online campings
  • From time to time, help out the team on other various tasks.

Undergraduate degree in relevant field

3 – 5 years of experience in:

  • Track record of marketing towards families
  • Experience with subscription-based service
  • Experience with product marketing
  • Community management
  • Customer service (for digital products or online e-commerce)
  • Active and enthusiastic presence in social media
